Electrical

We worked on electrical today.  Nothing looks different, but it was a solid afternoon of work.

Good days work

Today I did more painting of the eve facia.  It was a hot day to be on the roof.  Ian and his dad got our interior electrical box.

HVAC is starting

We can park in our driveway again!  Hooray!  It had been totally filled with lumber.  Its now parkable again.  Our HVAC contractor is on site this week.  Ian was able to get a little electrical done at the end of the day after work.

Electrical

Yesterday we did electrical boxes for the lights on the back porch.  Today, we did the downstairs.  Yesterday I did more eve painting.  This time working on the outside of the fascia, where our gutters will be.  Today I did a little trim touch up. 

Finally up to date

Yesterday morning, I painted what I could from the scaffolding.  If only I were a few inches taller I could have reached the peak!  Ian installed the vent for our downdraft hood.  In the afternoon, more work on the "Tesla Tube."  Ian drilled holes for the conduit, and I assisted and cleaned.  I am amazed at the volume of sawdust that is generated each and every week during this process.  

Midweek status update (3/11)

These pictures are from March 11.  Our contractors put up tar paper on the east wall, and Ian spent a little time after work starting to bring conduit inside that will ultimately run to an electrical pannel in the garage, that will someday allow us to charge an electric car.  He's calling it our "Tesla Tube."  

The Deck!

A nice thing about daylight saving time is that I can take daily pictures again.  Our deck is starting to take shape.

More playing house...

While Ian was working on vents and electrical outlets, I did a more detailed layout of our kitchen island.  The red spot isn't blood, it's where the gas needs to come through the floor for our cooktop.

Catching up on Blogging

Hello, I've gotten behind in my blog updates, so I'll have a few quick blogs with pictures from the last few weeks.  The last weekend in February 2/28 to 3/1 I painted more eves, as Ian worked on electrical.  We also did some concrete coring for electrical conduit and a bathtub drain.
