Today we accomplished a task that had been looming - connecting the duct for our downdraft hood. The placement of this sets where our kitchen island will be. It feels great to have this checked off the to do list.
Since I blogged last we've been busy with all the little odds and ends needed for sheetrock - blocking, more insulation, fixing door headers that we're installed to low. It seems like our framing contractor completely forgot to allow thickness for flooring. It would have been so much faster if it had been done right the first time.
